USCGC MAPLE (WLB 207)

FY15 DOCKSIDE AVAILABILITY

SOLICITATION ADDENDUM

Questions, Cover page: Contractors are strongly encouraged to ask all questions by November 6, 2015. However, contractors are welcomed to ask questions after that time to receive further clarification.

Price Schedule: The Blank Schedule of Supplies has been updated to include 1700 labor hours as the quantity (QTY) for O-00A ‘Composite Labor Rate’.

Additional Work, page 5: Revised to read as follows “Additional work verbally agreed to by the parties that has not yet been incorporated into the contract by modification shall not be included in an invoice. Contractors should not perform any additional work based upon verbal agreements alone. New work should not be started unless and until a signed change request (pg 11-13) has been executed per Contracting Officer’s approval. Approved change requests will be incorporated into a subsequent modification.”

Period of Performance, page 6: Revised to read as follows “Work covered by this solicitation shall be completed within fifty-seven (57) calendar days from the date the vessel becomes available to the Contractor. The performance period is from 12 JAN 16 thru 09 MAR 16. An arrival conference normally will be held within 48 hours of the schedule start date.’

Schedule of Supplies, page 7: Contractors do not need to fill out the table provided. Please only fill out the revised Blank Schedule of Supplies/Services.

Past Performance, page 30: Revised to read as follows “The Contracting Officer will not interpret or otherwise construe the final customer ratings – they will be taken at face value. However, greater legitimacy will be conferred on relevant, well-documented reports since such reports will demonstrate that the assessor has justified his/her ratings.”

Option Items, page 31: Revised to read as follows “(2) OPTION ITEMS: These are the items, which may be awarded upon completion of open and inspect dependent upon funding and a determination of need. The quote shall be evaluated to include the price for each option item.”
