Reference (a) provided initial notification of the USCG intent to conduct an informational Industry Day on 10 March 2016 at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington, DC for anticipated LRCCA requirements posted to FBO. This correspondence is to provide more detailed information with regard to Industry Day on 10 March 2016.
Industry Day will consist of a morning briefing session and afternoon one-on-one sessions. The morning session will be from 10:00am-12:00pm and will take place at Coast Guard Headquarters in
Washington, DC in the Lower Level (LL6) Ray Evan conference room. The conference room is in the main HQ building across from the the parking facility, whose formal address is 2703 Martin Luther
King Jr. Ave SE, Washington DC 20593; however, for GPS locator purposes we recommend the use of
2699 Firth Sterling Ave, SE, Washington DC 20593, which allows the public to get close to the access road as indicated on the map. Participants should enter at the Gate 4 Visitor Center indicated which parrallels/runs alongside route 295. Due to the tight security, we highly recommend groups coordinating and coming via Taxi. Group carpool parking is available in the Garage secure lot; however, access and riders must be coordinated upfront with the CG POC. Visitors must still access Gate 4 Visitor Center for all passes (individual or vehicle).
Access to Coast Guard Headquarters for non-CAC holders, will require completion of Enclosure(1) as well as provision of D.O.B, and social security. Passports copies are required for non –U.S citizens(and hardcopy for entry). Please provide the personally identifiable information (PII) data via your organization’s secure communication methods (encrypted email or via phone to the USCG POC).
CAC holders only need to provide full name, phone and email address. As applicable, please complete
Enclosure (1) and return to the USCG POC Ms. Vallerie Pringle, via email: vallerie.j.pringle@uscg.mil by Tues 8 March 2016. She can also be reached at 202-475- 3083. The morning of the 10th visitor passes and/or carpool parking passes may be picked up at the Gate 4 Visitor Center.
HOW TO REGISTER:

Government to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor participation in the industry day.
Enclosure (3) details the tentative schedule. Following the morning session, there will be a break for lunch. There is a cafeteria on the 5th Floor of the Main HQ Building. COSI is the vendor if you choose to have lunch at USCG HQ. There are sofas and an indoor break area around the LL6 conference room.
You will be escorted throughout the entire process.
