Questions - Solicitation HQ072723R0002

1.) How is the scope of work on this solicitation different from the scope of work that the current incumbent is performing?

Additional financial/accounting/audit/system services included as well as adds audit remediation (current FIAR contract is more readiness) (Financial Improvement Audit Readiness – FIAR / Financial Improvement Audit Remediation - FIAR). Also, this contract includes DAI Financial System Technical/Sustainment Support.

2.) How many staff do you anticipate for this 2023 solicitation?

This cannot be answered since the proposal will provide the labor pool/rates based on the solicitation requirements.

3.) For the trip to California. How long will each staff be in California? Are staff in California for one week?

For the most part, this will be remote work and will only need to travel on-site to DMEA as required such as for Audit Site Visits from DLA/Ernst & Young. So far they have been virtual, but have mentioned they may have in-person visits this cycle. It is estimated amount for 2 trips for 4 (maybe 5) people.

4.) How many staff will be required to travel to California?

Depends on if it’s required. If there’s an in-person Audit Site Visit, it would be whoever will have a role of briefing during the presentation or if they want to send all.
