10 January 2023 Question #2 – Solicitation HQ072723R0002

1. Reference: Instructions to Offerors, Factor 3 Price/Cost, "Travel: provide estimated travel cost for up to two (2) trips per year, Contractor travel and travel-related costs". Question: In order to provide travel cost estimates, would the Government provide an estimate of the number of personnel traveling and the duration of each trip?

For the most part, this will be remote work and will only need to travel on-site to DMEA as required such as for Audit Site Visits from DLA/Ernst & Young. So far they have been virtual, but have mentioned they may have in-person visits this cycle. It is estimated amount for 2 trips for 4 (maybe 5) people. The estimated duration for each visit may be about one (1) week. This is depended on labor categories proposed.

2. Reference: Instructions to Offerors, Factor Price/Cost. Question: Will the Government provide a pricing spreadsheet with the required labor categories, direct/indirect costs, etc. requirements?

The government will not provide this information. The proposals will provide labor categories and pricing based on solicitation requirements.
