QUESTIONS/ANSWERS

1. In the Americas lecture room, there are two projectors. Is it the intent to use them as “Dual monitor” in VTC mode or should the VTC image shown on both displays be the same image since the viewing angles in the room for the participants are not “on axis”?

Response: Yes, needs to support both.

3. If ISDN support is necessary, do you have PRI or BRI ISDN network on property?

Response: Yes, the Government has dedicated ISDN lines for existing VTCs.

4. IF ISDN support is necessary, does your existing ISDN network provide a standard ST interface (like provisioned through a PBX server) or the does the AV contractor need to provide a NT-1 interface to connect between the ISDN lines and the codec?

Response: The Government has NT-1 active in TC.

5. Please confirm that the referenced “second wall output for the interpretation booth” should be a male XLR connection with a mix of (program content [PC audio, dvd audio etc], the existing wireless mics, ceiling mics, and the new desktop wireless mics).

6. The specifications indicated that the existing DSP’s in the Americas room where Biamp Audia, but they are in fact NEXIA. Could you provide the make and model of all NEXIA equipment desired to be re-utilized for both spaces please?

Response: Correct, they are NEXIA and not Biamp. As part of the reusable equipment request per the PWS. NEXIA should be reuse if the equipment is in good operation.

7. Please confirm that a tech control panel is not required for the Directors Conference room, and that a single wall mounted Crestron control panel mounted in the current location is all that is needed.

Response: Confirmed. A single wall mounted Crestron control panel mounted in the current location is all that is needed.

8. In the specifications, a DVD recorder for recording meetings is specified. It was not clear if this was intended for both the Americas and Directors room. Please advise.

Resposne: Only Americas.
