About this file
This document summarizes an amendment to a Broad Agency Announcement soliciting research proposals from public and private institutions. The amendment reschedules an information session on the solicitation to October 12, 2023 and extends the due date for white paper submissions to October 23, 2023. The Strategic Trends Division of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency seeks analytic research reports through strategic dialogues, studies, and tabletop exercises to generate timely and actionable insights into emerging threats relevant to countering weapons of mass destruction. Funded research efforts will constitute applied research to identify and answer specific questions using proposed methodologies involving strategic dialogues or tabletop exercises, with the expected output being analysis and research products rather than just reports on events.
