Notes
1. BTRIC library, Summary List of Equipment in BSL-2 and BSL-3 Spaces at Notional Interim CRL in Ukraine.
2. BTRIC library, Equipment List for Notional Ukraine Human EMS.
3. BTRIC library, Notional Technical Requirements: BTRP Program Implementation in Ukraine, subhead “BTRP Response Vehicle.”
4. BTRIC library, Notional Technical Requirements: BTRP Program Implementation in Ukraine, subhead “EMS Equipment Procurement.”
5. BTRIC library, Overview of BTRP BSS-TADR Project, slide № 6, “MORU.” Note, too, that current plans for Phase 2 in Ukraine call for the establishment of only one Mobile Response Team (i.e., not two, as stated in presentation). The original call for two Mobile Response Teams anticipated the addition of the veterinary-related Government of Ukraine entities, and each side (i.e., human and vet) each would receive and operate one Mobile Response Team. Accordingly, the matrix above breaks the Mobile Response Team into two parts: one (human) is assumed under Base; the other (veterinary) is assumed under Optional. Note, finally, that the Mobile Response Team is not required to operate out of the Central Reference Laboratory (interim or permanent); DTRA anticipates, however, that the Government of Ukraine will choose the Central Reference Laboratory as the base of operations for the Mobile Response Team.
