About this file
This document contains a template for a Service Level Agreement (SLA) for use on the Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) Indefinite Quantify indefinity Quality (IDIQ) Contract. The SLA template outlines required sections including the service name, summary, definition, performance parameters, management statement, and failure remedies.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation notice from the Defense Information Systems Agency for satellite-based services under the CSCO PLEO IDIQ contract. It seeks services including geographic coverage, minimum and maximum capacity per time unit, minimum availability time per unit, responsiveness, and other specialized service parameters. Offerors must meet requirements in the Performance Work Statement of the IDIQ contract and provide remedies for any failures to meet service commitments.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) Template
Purpose and Objectives This template is for use on the Commercial Satellite Communications Office (CSCO) Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) Indefinite Quantify indefinity Quality (IDIQ) Contract. The SLA must meet the minimum requirements contained in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) of the IDIQ contract. No SLA may contain any statement that modifies or interferes with the Government's prescribed/standard contract terms and conditions. Each SLA should contain the information described in the following SLA Template. The contractor may add any additional sections to the SLA to better describe their service, such as security.
SERVICE NAME
Name for service package (unique within supplier's scope)
SERVICE SUMMARY
Brief description of the service package and its key parameters.
SERVICE DEFINITION
Narrative description of the service package; what it does, how users connect to it, etc.
SERVICE PERFORMANCE
Itemized performance parameters for the service package, including commitments/thresholds and targets/objectives; for each parameter, along with its specific performance level(s) include a narrative description and a detailed method of measurement, as well as detailed definitions of any terms upon which the parameter and its measurement depend. Parameter topic areas to address include (without limitation): geographic coverage in which the service is to be provided; capacity (minimum and maximum per unit time), availability (minimum time per unit), responsiveness, and other service parameters applicable to any type of service (specialized if/as appropriate); parameters specific to the applicable type of service, such as information rate for a communication service or resolution for an image service.
SERVICE MANAGEMENT
Statement of compliance to or strategic (price discounted) deviation from IDIQ PWS Task 5 and Task 6 details. Description and commitment to any additional Service Management features applicable to the service package.
FAILURE REMEDIES
For each commitment/threshold defined in the SERVICE PERFORMANCE Section, provide a remedy to be applied in the event of a failure to meet that commitment. These remedies are in addition to any remedies provided by standard Government contract terms and cannot override or modify those.
