PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Naval Special Warfare Command

CQC Rubber Tile Replacement JEBFS FARCO High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

1. BACKGROUND: Currently the bullet containment system Close Combat Training Facility at the Joint Expeditionary

Base Fort Story requires maintenance. Rubber belting is required to maintain and sustain the AR500 ½” ballistic steel plates. NSW Range Enterprise is standardizing all Close Quarter Combat training facilities with flip-lock rubber tile, 2’ x 2” x 2” flip-lock rubber tiles as part of the containment system. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) furring is required to provide standoff between rubber tiles and ballistic steel in order to catch bullet fragments and splinters.

2. OBJECTIVE: Establish a contract to provide materiel for HDPE furring for two east coast range sites. The award of a contracting vehicle will include the base award for the Single-Story Close Quarter Combat training facility and the Multi-Story Close Quarter Combat Training Facility. Both facilities are located at Fort Story, Virginia.
