About this file
This document is a PowerPoint presentation providing guidance for conducting a Statewide Coverage analysis for the APEX Accelerator program, aligned with a Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) dated 17 July 2025. The guidance outlines a four-step process for analyzing statewide coverage, which requires documenting service to at least 50 percent of a state's counties and 75 percent of the state's labor force. The analysis methodology involves retrieving statewide and county-level labor force data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, comparing the most recent annual statistics, and presenting results that clearly state the percentage of counties and labor force served by the APEX Accelerator. The document is marked as UNCLASSIFIED//FOUO and provides specific web resources for obtaining labor force data, including http://data.bls.gov/pdq/querytool.jsp and http://www.bls.gov/lau/home.htm.
