RFI #1 47PF0021Q0095

1. The RFP says at C.2.1.12 that we must maintain the containment of asbestos, and the asbestos notification letter says that the is asbestos in door insulation. Is the asbestos insulation is inside or outside of the doors. I would like to know exactly where the asbestos is located.

1. Any insulation would be inside the door.

2. Please indicate where the usual incorporated Force Majeure clause is located.

1. Exhibit 4, Definitions, 1. Acts of God

3. GSA 552.228-5 supplements FAR 52.228-5 and says our insurance has to waive subrogation against us. How can we check if we have an explicit waiver in place with GSA currently?

1. This is something that will be set up as terms of your insurance, should you win the contract.

4. This is an indefinite quantity contract, per FAR 52.216-20, and all of the years after the first are also at the government's option. Is a longer-term extension agreement feasible after the first year?

1. No, this will be a one-year base award, with 4 one year options, as dictated in the RFP.

5. Why are there restrictions against Huawei and Kaspersky products?

1.It is mandated in Section 889 Parts A and B. In a presentation given to

GSA, it was stated that, “Bad actors are persistent in trying to infiltrate US networks

– often exploiting technologies from the identified Chinese companies to do so.”

“Congress passed and the President signed a law (Sec 889 of the 2019 NDAA) targeting five telecom and video-surveillance companies headquartered in the People’s Republic of China:

a. Huawei Technologies Company

b. ZTE Corporation

c. Hytera Communications Corporation
