Q.8 How do you determine the option year pricing in relations to the Davis Bacon Rates? How can I determine the future pricing for Davis Bacon Rates?

A.8 Government's response: Firms must make a business decision in forecasting the wage rate escalations for the option years. Because wage rates cannot be predicted for future years, a firm must use their business experience and judgment when estimating and factoring wage increases into their line item prices for the option years I through IV.

A.12 Government's response: The estimated projected amount of construction services to be placed against the IDIQ contract is $40 million over the life of the contract.
