| Descript: Question 1: Drawing A 102, detail 1, 9, 10 all say to remove and reinstall aluminum coping. Drawings A201-A202, elevations say for the metal to remain in place. Are they coming off and then reinstalled? |
Answer 1: Please remove the note to remove the aluminum parapet cap, in details 1, 9, & 10. The aluminum parapet cap will remain in place and not be removed.
Question 2: On 2/A202 dashed detail 1/A302, should be to the west (right ) corner of the detail. There is no intention of moving the stairs?
Answer 2: The call out for detail 1/A302 was mis drawn, it should be at the right (north west side) of the building.
Question 3: Detail 1 and 2 on A201 refers to detail 5/A102 for chips which is a Dutchman. Is it supposed to be 5A/A102 for patching rather than Dutchman repair?
Answer 3: The drawings are correct. In general, all stone repair at grade level to 10' AFG will require a Dutchman, all repair higher on the building will be stone patching.
