GSA New England Region
U.S. General Services Administration Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Federal Building 10 Causeway Street Boston, MA 02222 www.gsa.gov
TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS
SUBJECT: PRE-BID CONFERENCE
SOLICITATION NO. GS-01P-10-BZ-C-0014
DATE/TIME: February 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM
LOCATION: St. Albans Federal Building 50 South Main Street, Postal Work Room St. Albans, VT 05478
The purpose of this Pre-Bid conference is to provide a briefing on the contracting concept, the scope of work, and the specifications, so that bidders can ascertain the complexities of the services to be performed which would materially effect the conduct of operations or cost thereof.
Interested firms are requested to submit questions via e-mail to Robert Budlong at robert.budlong@gsa.gov at least two days prior to the date of the Pre-Bid Conference in order to facilitate preparation of responses. Each question should clearly specify the Section, Page and Paragraph, to which it refers. Answers to questions will be provided at the Pre-Bid Conference, and a summary of the topics discussed at the Conference will be provided to all prospective bidders as an amendment to the Invitation for Bid.
Attendance at this conference is vital to the preparation of a competitive, cost effective, and accurate bid. It will enable the contractor to become acquainted with the areas to be serviced, and to be aware of the specific problem areas which require special attention. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omission or miscalculation in bids. An official tour of the building will be conducted after the pre-bid conference. Additional tours may also be scheduled by the Property Manager.
Contractors are requested to notify the Contract Specialist, Robert Budlong via e-mail above, of the names of the persons who will attend the conference. Notification should be made at least two working days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Sincerely, Donna Maffeo, Contracting Officer North Service Center Branch, 1PSK Public Buildings Service
