About this file

This document contains fire alarm system testing results for four buildings, presenting pass/fail data for various alarm components across each facility.

Building A tested 919 total items with 896 passing and 23 failing, representing a 97.5% pass rate. Smoke detectors comprised the largest component category with 615 units tested (10 failures). Other notable components included pull stations (77 tested, 1 failure), batteries (75 tested, 0 failures), and expander panels (38 tested, 0 failures). Components with higher failure rates included duct detectors (4 failures of 13 tested) and heat detectors (3 failures of 14 tested).

Building B demonstrated superior performance with 276 total items tested and only 2 failures, achieving a 99.3% pass rate. Smoke detectors again represented the largest category with 173 units tested (1 failure). All annunciators, batteries, heat detectors, horn/strobes, phone stations, power supplies, pull stations, speakers, and strobes achieved perfect pass rates. Only smoke detectors and speaker/strobes each recorded one failure.

Building C tested 907 total items with 887 passing and 20 failing, yielding a 97.8% pass rate. Smoke detectors dominated the testing with 661 units tested (7 failures). Pull stations showed the highest failure concentration with 8 failures among 55 tested units. Batteries, phones stations, horn/strobes, and strobes each recorded between 1-2 failures across their respective test populations.

Building D tested the smallest sample with 220 total items and 6 failures, achieving a 97.3% pass rate. Smoke detectors (123 tested, 2 failures) and pull stations (19 tested, 3 failures) comprised the primary test categories. Amplifiers, batteries, duct detectors, expander panels, horn/strobes, speakers, and strobes all achieved perfect pass rates.
