About this file

This file is a workload data spreadsheet documenting operations and maintenance activities for the Ground-Based Electro-Optical Deep Space Surveillance System (GEODSS) across three detachments and headquarters during the base year (May 2022–April 2023). The data is organized by detachment location (Det 1, Det 2, 15 SPSS) and includes a consolidated summary, tracking monthly metrics across 12 operational categories aligned with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

Key workload metrics documented include: visiting team support (480 personnel supported, 2,686 hours); meetings and familiarization briefings (108 briefings/tours, 366 attendees, 181 hours); exercises and inspections (14 exercises, 13 inspections, 396 combined hours); headquarters taskings (2,725 tasks monthly frequency); Special Operations Intelligence (SOI) taskings (13,104 tasks with 2,578.82 hours); Tactics Improvement Proposals (5 developed, 6 tested, 2 implemented); depot-level maintenance (13 requests with 11 technical assist, 4 engineering analysis, 2 unscheduled depot-level maintenance); Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) calibrations (52 items); communications operations including network outages (22 reported), security notices (8 requiring action), and long-haul circuit outages (20 incidents with 737 after-hours support hours); Civil Engineering documentation (4,317 RPIE maintenance actions, 374 PCCIE maintenance actions, 119 RPIE repairs); security processing (244 visit requests, 5,818 personnel escorted with 4,670.5 support hours). The data reflects operational demands across geographically dispersed sites with varying activity levels by month and location.
