About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Washington National Guard for an Audio-Visual solution at the Washington Regional Command Training Center (WRCTC) classroom at Camp Murray. The Q&A provides clarifications on project scope, facility specifications, and system requirements that vendors must address in their proposals.
Key project specifications include: existing front and rear projection screens will be reused, but projectors will be replaced with new units; 12 existing ceiling speakers must be integrated into the new system; side displays should be mounted on extendable articulating mounts at maximum size between windows, with lighting fixtures removable if necessary; two PC input sources will be provided at front and rear wall plates; the wireless touch panel controller will mount on an existing podium in the front of the room; ceiling height is 20 feet with 2x2 tile construction and drywall walls. The system must support cameras for web conferencing applications (though cameras are not included in the bid), but wireless microphones and wireless content sharing are excluded from scope. Existing cabling may be reused where functional and properly located. The Q&A document contains 20 answered questions with several blank question-answer slots remaining, indicating the document captures clarifications issued to prospective bidders prior to proposal submission.
