Statement of Work Summary
This Statement of Work dated 9 April 2026 describes a door replacement project across nine facilities at an Air Force Base (MHAFB). Project #18016548, managed by Mr. Charles Shoemaker, has a 180-day period of performance with no liquidated damages clause. The contractor must provide and verify all field measurements, with submittals required for door, frame, glass, and hardware specifications. Nine buildings are included in the scope: Buildings 198, 211, 512, 1126, 1300, 1361, 1613, 1784, 2316, and 2610. Two buildings (198 and 1361) located on the airfield require an Environmental Assessment Letter (EAL). No government-furnished materials are provided; the contractor is responsible for all procurement and installation.
The project requires installation of aluminum/glass storefront doors (such as Kawneer Trifab VersaGlaze and Oldcastle 3000) and hollow metal personnel doors with specific hardware configurations. All exterior doors must feature aluminum bronze frames with 1-inch insulated bronze-tinted Low-e glass, minimum 10-inch bottom rails, BEST-compatible keyed locks with panic hardware, surface-mounted bronze closers, thresholds, door sweeps, and weather stripping. Interior doors require push/pull hardware without locks. Building-specific requirements vary significantly, with detailed specifications for door dimensions, lite configurations, hardware types (including Best 9K series entrance and storeroom handles, Simplex cipher locks, and Trilogy electric combination locks), and mounting substrates (CMU or metal buildings). All existing doors and materials must be removed and delivered to Building 1800 Recycle Center per Executive Order 13101. Construction cannot begin until all doors are on-site and ready for installation.
