About this file
This is an addendum issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) updating the calendar of events for solicitation FWC 25/26-32C, the Yellow River Little Gin Hole Landing Restoration project. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit was conducted on December 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM ET. The addendum extends critical deadlines: the deadline for written questions has been moved from December 17, 2025, to December 23, 2025, with responses to questions now anticipated by December 30, 2025. Sealed bids are due by January 15, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET (previously January 8, 2026), with the public bid opening occurring on the same date and time at the FWC Purchasing Office in Tallahassee. The anticipated award date has been extended to January 20, 2026 (previously January 13, 2026). For projects valued at $200,000 or greater, contractors must establish or maintain an active office within 300 road miles of the project site, and for contracts exceeding $500,000, at least 15 percent of management and construction work must be performed using the contractor's own employees. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds at 100 percent of contract value are required for contracts over $100,000. The project timeline includes 60 days for construction activities, 30 days for planting, and 90 days for plant watering and monitoring, totaling 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages assessed at $150 per calendar day for delays beyond the Substantial Completion date.
