About this file
This document is an Addendum (No. 2) issued by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for Solicitation No. FWC 24/25-102 regarding Fisheating Creek WMA Campground Water Treatment Plants Operator Services. The addendum provides responses to 19 different questions from potential bidders, covering various technical and operational details about the water treatment facilities. The solicitation is scheduled for public bid opening on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM Eastern Time, with responses due by that deadline. The contract appears to be for comprehensive water and wastewater treatment plant operator services at the Fisheating Creek Wildlife Management Area campground.
Key details from the addendum include information about existing infrastructure such as lift stations (with specific pump specifications), water treatment plants, and current operational practices. The document reveals that the existing water treatment plant will be demolished and replaced, and the current sludge hauler is Karle Enviro-Organic Recycling, Inc. Several questions could not be immediately answered by FWC, with the agency directing potential bidders to submit Public Information Requests (PIR) for detailed historical data like emergency call-out frequencies, maintenance records, and sludge hauling volumes. The addendum also indicates flexibility in contract pricing, allowing for additional services and major repairs to be invoiced at pre-established rates subject to the FWC Project Manager's discretion.
