About this file

This is an attachment listing aircraft that contractors may offer for the North Warning System (NWS) Fixed-Wing Airlift/Transportation Services contract. The document establishes the framework for aircraft approval and use under the contract, requiring that all aircraft be either owned or controlled by the contractor to ensure complete operational control for contract performance. The contractor may add or delete aircraft during the contract period only with Contracting Officer concurrence and after technical approval by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and AMIC/Det 1. All aircraft offered must be equipped and approved for Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) operations.

The aircraft specification table requires contractors to identify each aircraft by type and tail number, and to provide detailed performance and capacity data including number of passenger seats, empty weight, maximum gross takeoff weight, fuel burn rate, range in Gallons per statute mile (GCSM), and maximum internal or sling payload capacity. This attachment applies to all contract periods and serves as the baseline aircraft listing for the presolicitation opportunity FA489026R0027, which is seeking fixed-wing airlift services to support remote North Warning System radar sites in the Canadian Arctic with capability to transport payloads of 2,100 to 6,000 pounds and personnel to unimproved landing surfaces.
