About this file
This document is an Amendment (Amendment No. 1) to a solicitation issued by the Oklahoma Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) for a statewide contract (SW0708) for sign erection and maintenance services. The amendment, dated 4/28/25, addresses solicitation number EV00000683 and incorporates responses to vendor questions submitted during the Q&A period that closed on 04/18/2025. The contract covers comprehensive sign installation and maintenance activities for Oklahoma highways and interstates, including repairs, replacements, and new installations for various sign types such as truss, overhead, monotube, small, extruded, and LED signs across crossroads and traffic interchanges.
The amendment addresses five vendor questions regarding emergency pay items, mandatory equipment requirements, lane closure pay items, and police surveillance considerations. While most additional requirements were not accepted, vendors were provided clarification on incorporating certain elements into their traffic control plans. The contract appears open to all qualified vendors, with no specific set-aside designations mentioned. Bidders must submit responses through the Oklahoma Supplier Portal by 5/5/2025, with the initial contract term running from execution through 07/01/2026 and potential extensions possible through 07/01/2029. A 1% contract management fee is included, and quarterly usage reporting will be required. Suppliers must demonstrate capability to service multiple Oklahoma counties and meet specific emergency response and professional conduct standards.
