Immigration Certification Form for Collier County Bypass Pump Preventative Maintenance Contract
Form 3: Immigration Certification is a mandatory compliance document issued by Collier County's Procurement Services Division for vendors bidding on the Bypass Pump Preventative Maintenance, Repair and Replacement contract. This form requires all prospective vendors to demonstrate enrollment in the E-Verify program at the time of proposal submission, with acceptable evidence consisting of either a properly completed E-Verify Company Profile page or a fully executed E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding. The certification must be signed by a duly authorized corporate representative under penalties of perjury, attesting to the vendor's full compliance with applicable immigration laws, including the 1986 Immigration Act and Florida Statutes 448.095. Failure to submit acceptable E-Verify enrollment documentation will result in the vendor's submission being deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award consideration.
Collier County will not award contracts to vendors who knowingly employ unauthorized alien workers, and any such employment constituting a violation of 8 U.S.C. Section 1324a(e) of the Immigration and Nationality Act may serve as grounds for unilateral contract termination. The vendor must certify compliance with all federal immigration employment provisions and agree to maintain enrollment in the E-Verify Employment Eligibility Verification System operated by the Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration. This certification requirement applies to all vendors submitting bids for the grant-funded bypass pump maintenance contract, regardless of contract value or scope.
