About this file

This document is Standard Form 30 Amendment 006 for Solicitation FN1585-25, addressing engineering services for UNICOR's Federal Prison Industries dust collection system evaluation at FCC Coleman-Medium. The amendment provides detailed responses to 16 contractor questions, including clarifications on site visit documentation, drawing availability, and technical requirements. Key technical specifications include: client requires new static pressure calculations for dust collection systems, new air balance (CFM) sketches, installation of fire dampers in fire-rated walls, and balancing dampers for system optimization. Additional technical details revealed include manufacturer information for the existing dust collection system (E.S.I. MODEL 16AN ROTARY VALVE, Serial No. IG406700) and confirmation that a floor diagram schematic has been uploaded to Sam.gov. The questionnaire period ended March 5, 2025, with the solicitation focusing on engineering assessment of the wood furniture factory's dust collection infrastructure at the Coleman, Florida facility.
