About this file
This is Amendment #001 to solicitation FN1585-25 for engineering services to evaluate UNICOR's wood furniture factory dust collection system at FCC Coleman-Medium in Florida. The amendment revises key dates and evaluation criteria for the solicitation.
The amendment establishes new deadlines: NCIC forms are due January 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST (limited to 2 people per company), and proposal submissions are due February 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for January 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM EST at the Coleman, FL facility. Only offerors with approved NCIC forms can participate in the site visit, and site visit attendance is required for award consideration. The evaluation will be based on best value, considering site visit attendance, price, technical capability, and past performance. This is a small business set-aside opportunity. The amendment also clarifies residency requirements for contractor employees and confirms that while equipment layout information is available, original drawings cannot be distributed due to prison security considerations.

Question: Are there any existing drawings and / or documentation for the Wood Factory Dust
Collection System, which could include factory layout, equipment specifications, process flow, previous inspection reports, or previous contracts entered to? If so, can these provided to bidders via e-mail?
