About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 to a Request for Proposals (RFP) issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) to establish a contract for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of an equipment system consisting of a camera, signature pad, and scanner, as well as interface software. The RFP outlines the scope of work, system requirements, and delivery timelines. Key details include a revised calendar of events with updated deadlines for written inquiries, proposal submissions, and the anticipated notice of intent to award. The RFP requires the awarded contractor to deliver and set up equipment at three sites within 10 days of contract execution. The contract term is not specified.

The addendum includes a revised price sheet and answers to vendor questions. It clarifies that the contractor is required to provide 694 backdrops as part of the camera equipment outfit, and that the contractor is only responsible for supplying the necessary software development kits, not an end-user application. The addendum also removes the requirement for magnetic stripe reading capability on the signature pads.
