About this file

This document is a Bid Bond form (Standard Form 24) used when a bid guarantee is required for a federal contract opportunity. The Bid Bond binds the Principal (the bidder) and Surety(ies) to the United States of America and Fermi Research Alliance, LLC for payment of a penal sum if the Principal fails to execute further contract documents or provide required bonds upon acceptance of their bid.

The related federal contract opportunity is for Static Dissipative Flooring at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. The scope includes preparing and laying ESD protective epoxy flooring in the G-WEST (G723) laboratory, with a period of performance of 30 days. Requirements include an ESD protective floor within the range of 10^6-10^9 Ohms, and specific tasks such as grinding the existing concrete, priming, applying base coat epoxy, laying copper stripes, and clean-up. Pricing is based on an open box install, and the contractor must have direct dock access for deliveries.
