The following questions and answers are provided .

1. SOW indicates electric is to be replaced to pump. Please Define. Does this mean the entire circuit, or just the piping, wiring and devices inside the manhole itself.

Scope is similar to other manhole pumps. Pump and associated components shall be replaced according to details on zjx-1706159-M501.

2. Where is the source of power for this pump? Need to know the voltage and amperage of the circuit, and the panel it is fed out of.

Panel GLB.

3. Please advise of type pump, HP and voltage, customer is requesting (or suggesting) or are we to replace existing?

Replace existing.

4. Existing conduit inside this manhole is PVC, is it acceptable to replace with PVC if additional conduit is needed, or is RGC required?

Schedule 80 PVC conduit is acceptable.

5. Is the intent of this addendum to add this sump pump to the monitored and remotely controlled sump pump panel as identified in the other parts of the project? Does the customer want pump status and alarm wiring installed into this sump as is identified for other manholes in the area?

No. Pump replacement only.

6. If monitoring and control mentioned above is required, it is assumed that the customer wants the SCADA Graphics added to include this manhole, pump status, and alarm points to the main SCADA system. Is this intent?

See answer 5.

7. Are we going to need to locate the conduit routing to this manhole and provide the customer locate surveys of conduit routing for this manhole as we are required for the other manholes in this project?

See answer 5.

8. Does the customer know if there are spare conduits to this manhole that could possibly be used for additional alarm wiring if needed?

See answer 5.

9. If this pump needs to be controlled back to the proposed sump pump monitoring panel, is it ok to install new overhead conduit from the electrical room to the sump pump feed location. I noticed on the walk thru, that these rooms are separated by a UPS Battery room.

See answer 5.

Is it permissible to run conduit thru this room, or are there any restrictions to working inside this room?

See answer 5.
