About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract FA87126Q0976 issued on 15 June 2026, addressing inquiries regarding an audiovisual (AV) system procurement.

The Government clarified that no previous AV system drawings, control code, or touch panel layouts are available from the prior contractor; offerors were expected to obtain this information during a conducted site visit. The existing system includes two Crestron control processors (Model No: TSW-1600-TTK-B-S), one located at the podium and one in the booth, which do not require replacement. The existing Shure wireless microphone system includes an antenna distribution system with one microphone per receiver. The Government requires 2 bodypack and 2 handheld wireless microphones in the current configuration, plus an additional CatchBox microphone system—a ball-shaped microphone designed for team building scenarios where it can be tossed rather than passed, which would function as an alternative to handheld microphones during audience question and comment sessions. Rechargeable batteries for the microphones are not a requirement. The document notes that offerors may propose multiple separately priced solutions if desired.
