FA875119RA004 – SABER

RFI/Q&A Posting – 12 August

Q1 - Do we need the drafting technician to submit drawings for approval prior to start of each task order? Can we assume that the drafting technician is only for documentation of as-built drawings after each task order is completed ? SABER’s objective is for quick response with 35 percent designed, if we have to draft a complete design, it will slow the process and make it rather difficult to estimate cost for us and for our subcontractors.

A1 - The contractor will be required to complete the design as part of their submission. This includes drawings (if required), and any other information that shows understanding of the complete scope of what’s required to complete the job. Therefore, yes, a drafting tech may be required prior to submission of task order proposals.
