Q&A Part 5

Q1. “The mezzanine area is considered exposed”- Please clarify further. Will all SA and RA duct shown on M-101 and M-102 require insulation board? All lab area duct is exposed within a conditioned space or above the mezzanine.

A1. Consider ductwork in mechanical space and directly above the actual mezzanine as exposed. All other ductwork is concealed.
