D-34, D-37, D-39 AVSRD Table D-
1, D-3, D-5
Crew members, gun systems, ammunition, and flares are generally not considered payload. Section L requests a payload range chart for all three missions. Can the USAF confirm that the items listed are not payload because there is mid-mission pick-up and drop-off of SF or passengers and equipment?
All items listed in the column titled “Payload Weight Item” in AVSRD Appendices D-1, D-3 and D-5 are considered payload and shall be included in graph of payload weight versus Mission Range as defined for each mission profile. This includes both expendable and non-expendable payload items.
2 15 L-4.2.6.1.5 Graph of best range cruise speed for the continuity of operations
(COOP)/Transport Mission Profile cruise points (SRD 3.1.3).
Graph of best range maximum cruise speed for the continuity of operations (COOP)/Transport
Mission Profile cruise points (SRD 3.1.3).
Graph of maximum cruise speed for the continuity of operations (COOP)/Transport
Mission Profile cruise points (SRD 3.1.3).
The COOP/Transport mission profile in SRD specified the cruise velocity as maximum cruise. Or is it intended for ICBM Convoy
Escort mission with best range cruise speed?
The Government requests the graph in Section L 4.2.6.1.5 to identify the best range cruise speed for the COOP/Transport
Mission Profile cruise points. In the mission performance workbook, the offeror determines the appropriate cruise velocity to meet the COOP/Transport mission profile in
AVSRD appendix D-3.
3 14 L-4.2.6.1.2
A graph of Specific Range versus True Airspeed showing the effects of payload and ambient conditions for a range of pressure altitudes and for gross weights from basic AV weight up to maximum gross weight in 1,000 lb increments for a standard day and high hot day as identified in the UH-1N Replacement Mission
Profiles (SRD 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3).
A graph of Specific Range versus True Airspeed showing the effects of payload and ambient conditions for a range of pressure altitudes and for gross weights from basic AV weight up to maximum gross weight in 1,000 lb increments for a standard hot day and high hot day as identified in the UH- 1N Replacement Mission Profiles (SRD 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3).
A graph of Specific Range versus True Airspeed showing the effects of payload and ambient conditions for a range of pressure altitudes and for gross weights from basic AV weight up to maximum gross weight in 1,000 lb increments for a hot day and high hot day as identified in the UH- 1N Replacement Mission Profiles (SRD 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3).
The ESR and Convoy Escort mission profiles are at high hot day while the COOP/Transport mission is at hot day.
The Government requests the graph for standard and high-hot day conditions in Section L-4.2.6.1.2 to understand the performance envelope at the weights to meet the UH-1N Replacement Mission Profiles (SRD 3.1.1, 3.1.2, and 3.1.3).
Any specific mission segment condition, such as hot day, can be determined with the data requested.
4 13 Section J, Attach
01 SRD
UH-1N replacement aircraft shall provide Phase I APCO 25 functionality capable of being utilized by the crew members.
NOTE: An installed antenna capable of operating in all APCO 25 bands with a cable that allows attachment to a portable government provided APCO 25 radio in the cabin is acceptable.
Please provide guidance (manufacturers and part numbers) on which "portable Government provided APCO 25 radios" are planned for use in this aircraft. The Offeror wishes to plan interface verification and needs to understand which products should be tested.
The Government is currently using the Motorola APX 5000 portable radio..
Section L, Attachment 4, Energy Consumption
Worksheet
See Formulas for Cells B3, C3, and D3.
There is a #REFERENCE error in the formula for Cell B3 and Cell C3. Will the Government please clarify the correct reference?
In addition, the formulas for B3, C3 and D3 seem to total the incorrect rows (starting with row 5) as opposed to totaling the rows with the actual data (starting with row 2).
No Offeror input is required for the Energy Consumption Worksheet. The Government will correct the formulas when evaluating the Offeror-proposed Weight and Mission Performance Workbook.
The correct rows to total are as follows:
Cell B3: Rows 2 thru 15 Cell C3: Rows 2 thru 7
Cell D3: Rows 2 thru 18
