SUBJECT: Request for Proposal (RFP) for Altitude Chambers – Contractor’s Logistics Support (CLS) - RFP #FA8621-20-R-0002 – Amendment 1
Reference: Request for Proposal (RFP) for Altitude Chambers – Contractor’s Logistics Support
(CLS) - RFP #FA8621-20-R-0002, dated 04 March 2021
1. The Altitude Chambers (Chambers) program will continue to provide Contractor Logistics Support on thirteen (13) chambers. The contract period of performance is six years (one base year with five additional one-year options).
2. On 19 April 2021, the USG extended the proposal due date to 26 April 2021 via Beta.SAM.Gov. This RFP amendment hereby changes the response due date to 17 May 2021 by 1500 (EDT). Late responses will not be accepted. The Chambers service acquisition is a FAR 15 Competitive Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 541330.
3. This RFP amendment supersedes all previous versions and associated documentation, and shall be fully replied upon for proposal requirements.
4. The offeror shall populate Section J, Attachment 4 Pricing Matrix and provide the populated Excel Sheet as part of their Price Volume. The offeror shall ensure all cells highlighted in red are populated. If there are any red cells remaining after you complete the spreadsheet, you did not fully complete it.
5. In addition to the RFP documents, offerors must submit all applicable Past Performance Information (PPI). Instructions for submitting this information are included in Section L, Attachment 6. All PPI is requested by 07 May 2021 (10 calendar days prior to the date set for receipt of proposals). Please note: Per Section L of the solicitation, “Failure to submit early proposal information will not result in Offeror disqualification. Early submission of the Past Performance volume, by itself, is not sufficient to establish that a proposal was timely submitted.”
6. In accordance with FAR 15.201, the Contracting Officer is the focal point for any exchanges of information following release of the RFP. Please direct all questions in writing at pamela.randall.1@us.af.mil with a copy to Lindsey Swain at lindsey.swain.2@us.af.mil and Michael Shields at michael.shields.18@us.af.mil.
