About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document issued by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Operational Contracting Division, dated 29 April 2026, addressing contractor inquiries regarding Task 4 of an electrical installation project at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Question 1 addresses the scope and specifications for reinstallation and power connectivity work involving new wiring installation between Room 128A and Room 134. The answer clarifies that wiring will originate from a junction box in Room 134, be pulled into Room 128A, and terminate at PDU 8 with proper phasing. The required materials include 160 feet of 3/0 THHN copper stranded wire in three colors (brown, orange, and yellow), six BISR-250 250MCM in-line splice burners, and six BIT-250 Burndy uni-tap terminal connectors rated for 10-250MCM with two-entry capability. The document specifies that work on PDU 8 is limited to labeling only, with contractors required to ensure label information is correct and observe labels at both ends in the electrical room. Curtis V. Thomas III, Contracting Officer for AFLCMC/PZIBB, issued this clarification.
