DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Depot Overhaul Support

Sample Task Order 3

1.0 PURPOSE

The purpose of this task is to provide USAF with a depot overhaul support of the MHU-196.

2.0 STATEMENT OF WORK

2.1 Monthly Status Reports: The Contractor shall supply monthly status reports per 4.18 to support this effort, and shall project timelines to support described efforts. The Contractor shall fully document and explain proposed methodology(ies), and final delivery/product/result(s)/etc., due to efforts required herein. The contractor shall exhaustively seek to ensure that Government tasks/deliverables are correctly understood, and fully executed to satisfy AFLCMC/WNZEA requirements.

2.2 In accordance with 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, and 4.3.5 of the PWS the Contractor shall provide engineering support for the development of depot-level Technical Orders (TOs) for the overhaul of the MHU-196 trailer. The TOs shall include disassembly and reassembly of the trailer, part inspections, repair procedures, coating and paint procedures, and other aspects of the trailer overhaul. The contractor will provide engineering guidance to the team that is currently developing the TO procedures.

NOTE: The AF overhaul facility for the MHU-196 is at Hill AFB. The following subparagraphs shall be individually quoted (by the Contractor):

a. Part Number 60244-40800, Lift Mechanism/Mechanical Assembly

b. Part Number 60244-42155-10, Rear Left Hand Wheel Assembly

c. Part Number 60244-42150-10, Rear Right Hand Wheel Assembly

2.3 The Contractor shall be available for on-site (Hill AFB, UT) evaluation and Government support within four hours of Government notification.

2.4 Upon task completion for each component/subsystem overhaul and process completion, the Contractor shall provide a statement of work per 4.12 of the PWS, including on all steps and order of actions necessary to support and successfully complete system overhaul by USAF (independent of contractor support). Finally, a final report, including comprehensive details for all actions required to support depot shall be generated in accordance with 4.10 of the PWS.

3.0 TRAVEL

Travel to Hill AFB will be required for this requirement. Travel shall be reviewed and approved by the Government contracting official per 4.14 requirements.

4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE (PoP)

The estimated PoP shall not exceed 365 calendar days from task order issue.
