The objective of this contract is to repair and maintain the Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) to provide a continued flow of serviceable assets to the warfigher thus increasing the mission capable rate and reliability of the weapon system. The continued operational availability and reliability of the JHMCS is critical to the Air Force and war fighter. This system allows the war fighter to maintain necessary situational awareness. Continued repair and availability of this system is critical. This effort will ensure availability levels are maintained. The contractor shall accept unserviceable units from the United States Government and return the same items to a serviceable condition. Items input for repair shall be in a wide range of ages from relatively new to several years old and a wide range of conditions consisting of, but not limited to: (a) damaged/broken in use and beyond the ability of field level skill to repair, (b) damaged in transit, (c) Retest-ok (RTOK), (d) other. Contractor shall establish a PME repair program to repair the following (Appendix 2A) JHMCS PME as required in order to return assets to a ready-for-issue status.

All assets repaired shall be limited to JHMCS production items only. All assets repaired shall be returned in the same part number configuration as received, unless re-identification is approved by the United States Government (USG).
