PACKAGING AND MARKING
Repairable Items Being Returned From a Vendor (MAY 2006)
A. When repairable items are returned to the warehouse after being repaired by a vendor it is critical that they be distinguished from new item purchases. Repairables must therefore be identified on the Material Inspection and Receiving Report (MIRR) (DD 250) that accompanies the shipment as follows:
1. For vendors who prepare paper DD 250s as stand alone documents, enter “Serviceable Assets shipped from a Repair Contractor. Input Receipt using Doc ID “D4M” to the Air Force Owner RI” in the body of block 14. Leave the code block blank.
2. For vendors who use Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) to prepare the DD 250 by printing them out of WAWF a different procedure is needed. In WAWF there is a Mark For field and a Mark For tab.
(a) Mark For field: This field is the equivalent of the code field of block 14. Leave the Mark For field blank and proceed to the Mark For tab.
(b) Mark For tab: The Mark For tab is located on the top of the WAWF screen along with the Header and Line Item tabs. The Mark For Tab is the equivalent of the body of the paper DD 250 block 14. Under the Mark For tab there is a Mark For Rep and a Mark For Secondary columns. In the Mark For Rep enter “Serviceable Assets shipped from a Repair Contractor. Input Receipt using Doc ID “D4M” to the Air Force Owner RI”.

SECTION H
SPECIAL CONTRACT REQUIREMENTS
H-900 DEPOT PRICE ADJUSTMENT (MAY 2009)
(a) In accordance with the clause in this section entitled, “Partnering with Air Logistics Centers (ALCs)”, the Warner Robins Depot, herein referred to as “402 MXW”, the Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer if, at any time during contract performance, but not to exceed once per any 12 month ordering period as contemplated by the clause entitled “FAR 52.216-18 Ordering”, the Depot unit prices for the applicable line items shown in the schedule below either increase or decrease. The Contractor shall furnish this notice within 60 days after the increase or decrease, or within any additional period that the Contracting Officer may approve in writing, but not later than the date of final payment under this contract. The notice shall include the Contractor's proposal for an adjustment in the contract unit prices to be negotiated under paragraph (b) of this clause, and shall include, in the form required by the Contracting Officer, supporting data explaining the cause, effective date, and amount of the increase or decrease and the amount of the Contractor's adjustment proposal.
(b) Promptly after the Contracting Officer receives the notice and data under paragraph (a) of this clause, the Contracting Officer and the Contractor shall negotiate a price adjustment in the contract unit prices and its effective date. The Contracting Officer shall modify this contract:
(1) To include the price adjustment and its effective date and
(2) To revise the unit prices of CLINs X003, X004, X005, X006, X008, X009, and X010 as shown in the schedule below to reflect the increases or decreases resulting from the adjustment. The Contractor shall continue performance pending agreement on, or determination of, any adjustment and its effective date.
(c) Any price adjustment under this clause is subject to the following limitations:
(1) Any adjustment shall be limited to the effect on unit prices of the increases or decreases in the unit prices shown in the schedule below (CLINs X003, X004, X005, X006, X008, X009, and X010). There shall be no adjustment for --
(i) Supplies or services for which the production cost is not affected by such changes;
(ii) Changes in rates or unit prices other than those shown in the schedule below for CLINs X003, X004, X005, X006, X008, X009, and X010.
(2) No upward adjustment shall apply to supplies or services that are required to be delivered or performed before the effective date of the adjustment, unless the Contractor's failure to deliver or perform according to the delivery schedule results from causes beyond the Contractor's control and without its fault or negligence, within the meaning of the Default clause.
(3) There shall be no adjustment for any change in unit prices, which would not result in a net change of at least 3 percent of the then-current total unit price. This limitation shall not apply, however, if, after final delivery of all contract line items, either party requests an adjustment under paragraph (b) of this clause.
(4) There is no percentage limitation on the number of increases or decreases which may be made under this clause. The applicable baselines for any possible contract unit price adjustments are noted below along with examples of potential adjustments as a result of this EPA clause.
(5) The unit price adjustment shall be exclusive of any indirect cost or profit.
(6) Any adjustment considered under the authority of this clause shall be applicable to CLINs X003, X004, X005, X006, X008, X009, and X010 only, as outlined in the table below.

(7) The depot price adjustment shall be made as follows:
a. Identify the Price Subject to Adjustment for each applicable CLIN. The Price Subject to Adjustment is identified in Schedule B for each applicable CLIN as the 402 MXW unit price (U/P) from the Depot to the subcontractor adjusted annually for inclusion in the schedule of the IA, only, allocable under this contract.
b. Compute the Percentage Change between the original baseline 402 MXW U/P to the subcontractor for the applicable CLINs in the solicitation/contract and the adjusted 402 MXW U/P to be released in September each Government FY for the current Option Period. The Percentage Change is calculated as follows:
(Adjusted 402 MXW U/P) - (Baseline 402 MXW U/P) = amount of adjustment (A)
(A) / Current U/P for the applicable CLIN = % Change/Delta
c. If the “Percentage Change” is an increase or decrease of more than 3.0%, the proposed 402 MXW U/P subject to adjustment for each CLIN shall be adjusted to include the increase or decrease. The new adjusted 402 MXW U/P will be added to the remaining proposed costs to compute the total unit cost to be utilized for each Delivery Order issued during each year of the applicable Option period. Percentages will be calculated to two decimal places, but rounded to one decimal place. For example, 2.49% will be round to 2.5%, while 2.41% will be rounded to 2.4%. If the increase or decrease is less than or equal to 3.0% (rounded to the nearest tenth), the price identified in the option period will remain in effect and no change shall occur to the pricing schedule. The contracting officer shall clearly demonstrate the increase or decrease in percentage through computations.
d. If the percentage is greater than +/- 3.0% the change to the 402 MXW U/P and CLIN U/P for each option period will be calculated as follows:
(% Change * Price Subject to Adjustment) = 402 MXW U/P Adjustment 402 MXW U/P Adjustment + baseline 402 MXW U/P = Adjusted 402 MXW U/P for Option Period Adjusted 402 MXW U/P + Price Not Subject to Adjustment = Adjusted CLIN Price for each Option Period
