About this file
This is an RFI Questions and Answers document that clarifies technical requirements for the Long-Distance Wired Telecommunication Services solicitation at Robins Air Force Base. The document addresses a specific clarification question regarding whether Robins AFB requires Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) or Primary Rate Interface (PRI) handoff capability. The answer confirms that the base requires SIP-to-RAFB conversion with an ISDN handoff, and further specifies that per PWS section 4.6.1, SIP circuits must be converted to Primary Rate Interface ISDN circuits. Due to STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide) compliance requirements, the handoff must be accomplished via T-1 connection. This clarification ensures that offerors understand the specific technical standards and security requirements that must be met when providing long-distance wired telecommunication services for the Air Force facility.
