About this file

The document is a Questions and Answers file for Solicitation FA850125Q0011, providing detailed site-specific information for a Honeywell Vindicator Intrusion Detection System installation at the 78th SFS Armory on Robins Air Force Base in Georgia. Key technical details include a 50+ year old facility with a 22 ft by 32 ft room, concrete perimeter walls, suspended ceilings, and no existing IDS system. The project requires installing 3 PIRs, 3 BMS, 2 duress buttons, and associated Vindicator equipment, with specific requirements for cable infrastructure that must be run in conduit. Site visits were originally scheduled for 14 March 2025 and amended to 17 March 2025 from 0900-1100, with after-hours access permitted with prior notification from the 78th SFS. The procurement requires all necessary labor, personnel, supervision, management, tools, equipment, transportation, and materials for a complete system installation, with strict equipment specifications that do not allow "or equal" substitutions or plenum wire.
