Questions Dated 22 December 2011
1. We have a question regarding the Technical Acceptability portion of the solicitation. Under the equipment plan, we want to know what qualifies as proof of ownership? We do own or are leasing all of our equipment but there are some machines that we acquired through the purchase of a company and there are others that we have manufactured in-house and had them certified by the FAA.
Can you please confirm what is acceptable for us to provide as proof of ownership?
ANSWER: Verification of equipment ownership can be in the form of invoices, purchase orders etc.
For those items acquired through company acquisition or manufactured yourself; documentation from the company acquisition listing the equipment will suffice. For the equipment manufactured, keep in mind the main intent is to verify a company has the equipment available and more important the equipment is capable of processing the items listed in Table l.C of section L. Manufactured equipment verification can be in the form of photo's, capabilities, dimensions and any other documentation showing the equipment is available and capable.
2. Also, I understand that the “Performance Confidence” binder can be turned in within 30 days prior to the solicitation deadline. When we submit this binder for review before the deadline, do we need to submit all seven copies and two e-copies of this binder, or is one hard copy sufficient?
ANSWER: Please submit all seven copies and two e-copies of this binder.
