PART I - THE SCHEDULE
SECTION B
SUPPLIES OR SERVICES AND PRICES/COSTS
In accordance with the attached CAV AF Reporting Requirements (see the document listed in Section J), the Contractor shall include a DD1348-1 when assets are shipped. DCMA Quality Assurance Representatives (QARs) will not approve or sign the DD1348-1, but will ensure a DD1348-1 is included with each returned asset. If a DD1348-1 is not included with each returned asset, DCMA will not sign the receiving report (DD250).
This is a five (5) year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The following table defines the periods of the contract that dictate when the identified CLINs or subCLINs may be ordered.
Periods: Timeframe: CLINs Ordering Period I Award date through 60 consecutive months 0001-0005
Per FAR 16.503(a)(1): In competitive environments the realistic estimated total quantity is derived by summation of the awarded CLINs' or subCLINs' Estimated Total Prices. In sole source environments the realistic estimated total quantity shall be posted as the Estimated Award Amount on the front page of the contract.
When certified cost or pricing data is required the offeror and associated subcontractors shall certify to the CLIN's Best Estimated Quantities or Maximum Quantity whichever is greater.
Per FAR 16.503(a)(2): The minimum and maximum order quantities governing the contractor’s obligation to deliver and the government’s obligation to order is established at the CLIN or subCLIN level in connection with clause 52.216-19 Order Limitations.
Failure of the government to purchase such items in the quantities described in the schedule as “Estimated” or “Maximum” will not entitle the contractor to any equitable adjustment in price.
Early delivery and partial shipment is accepted and encouraged unless specifically prohibited at the CLIN or subCLIN level.
