About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document dated March 23, 2026, addressing logistics and shipment procedures for a federal contract involving Radome site deliveries.

The document clarifies two key operational matters: First, shipments to Radome sites will not occur simultaneously; instead, schedules will be coordinated through project teams, making contractor point-of-contact (POC) availability critical for coordination. Second, materials destined for remote locations will be transported via charter aircraft scheduled by the team, with the contractor responsible for providing hazardous materials (Haz) certification and preparing shipments for transport. The response acknowledges that some locations present significant logistical challenges requiring charter aircraft access, but confirms these difficult-to-reach sites remain within the scope of services. This Q&A does not address pricing, response dates, award dates, or other specific contract terms, but instead establishes logistics expectations and contractor responsibilities for the shipment operation.

Questions and Answers:

Date: March 23, 2026

1. Is it likely that the shipments will be shipped to the Radome sites all at once?

a. No, the shipments will not be shipped to the Radome sites all at once.

The shipment schedules will be arranged through the teams, which is why the ability to have a POC is critical.

2. Some locations can be serviced easily; others will take quite a bit of logistics if not only by charter of small aircraft. Will the difficult places served by charters only be of concern?

a. For most of the remote locations the materials will be going in on the charter scheduled by the team. The contractor will provide the Haz certification and prep for shipment.
