About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a snow removal services contract at Hill Air Force Base supporting the 309 Software Engineering Group (SWEG). The document addresses three key operational questions regarding contract administration and performance requirements.
The Q&A clarifies that contractors must use the Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) System for invoice submission in accordance with DFARS requirements, and may bill after each snow removal event (push) for up to 39 total pushes rather than waiting until the end of the season. Regarding performance standards, contractors must remove snow when accumulation reaches 0.5 inches or greater during business hours (6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday excluding holidays) and must clear any overnight snow accumulation exceeding 0.5 inches prior to 6:00 AM. The contract is structured as a firm fixed price (FFP) arrangement with a base year covering 39 pushes plus four option years, with detailed specifications referenced in Appendix B of the Performance Work Statement.
