This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act (SCA) for federal contracts in Utah Counties of Salt Lake and Tooele, issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates (Wage Determination No. 2015-5489, Revision 28, effective December 3, 2025) applicable to service contracts awarded in this geographic area.

The wage determination lists approximately 200 occupational classifications spanning ten major occupational categories: Administrative Support and Clerical Occupations; Automotive Service Occupations; Food Preparation and Service Occupations; Furniture Maintenance and Repair Occupations; General Services and Support Occupations; Health Occupations; Information and Arts Occupations; Information Technology Occupations; Instructional Occupations; Laundry, Dry-Cleaning, Pressing and Related Occupations; Machine Tool Operation and Repair Occupations; Materials Handling and Packing Occupations; Mechanics and Maintenance and Repair Occupations; Personal Needs Occupations; Plant and System Operations Occupations; Protective Service Occupations; Recreation Occupations; Stevedoring/Longshoremen Occupational Services; and Technical Occupations; and Transportation/Mobile Equipment Operation Occupations. Prevailing wage rates range from $11.81 to $49.02 per hour depending on occupational classification. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week, $222.00 weekly, or $962.00 monthly), with an additional $5.09 per hour alternative rate for employees on SCA-covered contracts also covered by Executive Order 13706. Additional benefits include two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years; twelve paid holidays annually; and hazardous duty pay differentials of 4 to 8 percent for specified dangerous work. The determination includes special provisions for computer professionals, air traffic controllers, weather observers, uniform allowances, and procedures for requesting additional occupational classifications via Standard Form 1444.
