About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract opportunity FA812526Q0029 regarding a CNC Router Cutting System, dated January 30, 2026. The document clarifies requirements for the procurement and installation of the machine at an unspecified location, referred to as TAFB.

Key installation and operational requirements include: the machine will be installed in a 15 x 15-foot floor space with overhead door dimensions of 11'6" H x 13'6" W on an existing concrete slab; the contractor is responsible for delivery, rigging, and setting the machine at the installation site, but the government's installation team will handle all utilities connections (electrical and air); a dust collection unit can be located adjacent to the machine, with the contractor not responsible for overhead hookup; and site visits, layout drawings, and photographs of the installation location are not available. The machine must be pre-loaded with AlphaCam 3-Axis CAD/CAM Software and CNC interface Coreo software and cannot be connected to the internet. Functional specifications require the machine to cut sheet metal aluminum primarily, along with stainless and mild steel, with cutting capacity up to 5 inches thick; support common router bits with up to 1-inch (25mm) shaft size; include its own dust collection unit; and meet standard safety requirements. The contractor will not be responsible for removing existing equipment, as the site has already been cleared, and will not need to make utility connections.
