| 4 | The Solicitation states that the Offeror shall provide a sample of each Non-FR Combat Shirt OCP Size (XS-L-XXXL) One (1) each for males and females, for a total of six (6) shirts. OCP pattern fabric is not readily available unless the bidder is already manufacturing shirts from this fabric with the OCP pattern. We request that the Government allow samples to be furnished with the MULTICAM pattern in lieu of the OCP pattern accompanied by a written certification that production under an awarded contract would be in the OCP pattern. Will the Government agree to this camouflage pattern exception for the samples only? | Solicitation Page 71, Part II - Technical Proposal, Paragraph (5.) | Samples must be in OCP pattern. The OCP pattern is the current Air Force Uniform Pattern. | Air Force Instructions 36-2903 Dress and Appearance of Air Force Personnel |
| 5 | Will the Government amend the Solicitation to state that samples can be furnished in MULTICAM pattern rather than the OCP pattern, provided that bidders providing samples in MULTICAM pattern will certify that production and delivery of the combat shirts under an awarded contract will be in the OCP pattern? | |||
| Samples must be in OCP pattern. The OCP pattern is the current Air Force Uniform Pattern | Air Force Instructions 36-2903 Dress and Appearance of Air Force Personnel | |||
| 6 | Will the Government agree to extend the offer due date to allow adeuate time to provide the samples? We request a minimum extension of 7 days to 12/17/2021. | |||
| The Government will extend the solicitation until 12/17/2021 | Contracting Officer | |||
| 7 | For OCONUS destinations, can the Government provide estimated quantities or a percentage of quantities that would be shipped to OCONUS destinations? | |||
| Historically, about 30% of the shirts are used OCONUS | Government | |||
| 8 | I know the volume states 41,000 EA but I am assuming each SF Airmen will receive multiple shirts in their size, i.e. not 1 shirt per Airmen. Thus, is the actual scope of SF personnel to receive the shirt closer to 5,000 to 8,000 personnel with each receiving 5-7 | Please see attachment 3 Base Shipping Location to see locations of possible shipments. Quantity is based on the location needs. Not all SF Airmen wear the shirt; the number of shirts issued per Airmen varies with the average 2 shirts per Airmen | Attachment 3 Base Shipping Location - Government | |
