MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD
SUBJECT: Pre-Proposal Site Visit Meeting Minutes, Solicitation FA7000-16-R-0005, Glass Replacement and Installation IDIQ
1. A pre-proposal site visit was held for the Glass Replacement and Installation IDIQ at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA). The site visit was held on 09 August 2016 at 9:00 A.M. Potential contractors and other attendees present are listed on the attendance sheet (Attachment1). The Government provided transportation for all attendees from the South Gate Pass and Registration Center.
2. The site visit began at 9:00 A.M. Attendees were first taken to the 10 CONS office, Building 8110, for an overview briefing of the solicitation (Attachment 2). Mrs. Ali Anderson, Contract Specialist, presented an overview of the solicitation and the rules of engagement for the site visit. The attendees were greeted by Rick Blacksten and Christina Mandrell, both representatives from CES.
3. Following the briefing, the government provided transportation for a driving tour of the USAFA, visiting Rampart Lodge,the Cadet Chapel, Harmon Hall, Sijan Hall, Vandenberg Hall, and the Airfield.
Rick Blacksten gave a brief overview of glass types at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), and pointed out that the guard sheds located at South Gate, North Gate, and Entry Control Points are Bullet Resistant Glass.
4. The on-site portion of the visit concluded around 11:00 A.M. and all attendees departed from the Pass and Registration building. Everyone was reminded to submit any questions to myself in writing by Monday, 15 August 2016.
