About this file

This document is an Addendum (#2) for a Department of the Air Force project (RVKQ 20-0770) at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station to repair airfield pavement spalling. The addendum, dated 14 August 2025, modifies the original project specifications and drawings from August 11, 2021 by making three key changes: (1) replacing "Bituminous Hot Poured Joint Sealer" with "Jet Fuel Resistant Joint Sealer" on project drawings, (2) adding a new ASTM reference (ASTM D6690) for joint and crack sealants, and (3) adding detailed specifications for hot-poured sealing equipment that includes requirements for mobile unit applicators with specific technical features like double-boiler kettles, temperature control devices, and a direct-connected pressure-type extruding device.
