About this file

This document is an Amendment No. 0001 to a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Hoist Maintenance, Repair & Inspection Services in the Kaiserslautern Military Community, issued by the Department of the Air Force's 86th Airlift Wing. The amendment extends the solicitation closing date to 22 August 2025 at 1400 and updates the solicitation number from FA5613-25-Q-0028 to FA5613-25-Q-0016. Key changes to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) include new requirements for parts availability notification, maintenance and inspection timing, reporting procedures, and equipment provisions.

Specific modifications include mandatory contractor notifications to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) within one business day of parts unavailability, maintenance and inspections to be completed by July each year, and submission of written reports in English with German translations within eight business days after service completion. The amendment also addresses restricted area access, equipment requirements, and emphasizes that waiting times and potential cancellations due to mission requirements must be included in the contract price without additional government reimbursement.
