About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation FA560626QA008 issued by the 52nd Fighter Wing (USAFE) at Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany on April 9, 2026. The document addresses contractor inquiries regarding fire extinguisher maintenance services.

The solicitation pertains to a brand new contract with no incumbent contractor. The document confirms that contractors may perform required work on-site at Spangdahlem Air Base and are permitted to store equipment and trailers in a secure base area throughout the contract period. Regarding project scheduling, the government will allow contractors to complete the entire project within a single two to three-week trip if they feel confident in accomplishing the work in that timeframe. If contractors prefer multiple site visits, the government will phase the requirement by prioritizing fire extinguishers closest to their maintenance cycle expiration dates. Contractors with questions or concerns should contact Contract Specialist Nadine Sondermann at nadine.sondermann.de@us.af.mil.
